10:00am Doors open to the building
10:15am–10:45am Seat Assignments & Instructions read. Participants must present their validated admission ticket.
10:45am CONTEST BEGINS (all contestants must be seated)
10:45am–11:00am Opening remarks and Instructions (There will be no admission into the rooms during this time)
10:45am–12:00pm Parents are invited to attend an information session where they can learn more about math opportunites for their children. Refreshments for parents will be provided. Room: TBA
11:00am–12:00pm Sprint Round (26 questions in 50 minutes)
12:00pm-12:20pm Restroom Break
12:20pm–12:40pm Instructions given for Target Round
12:40pm–1:20pm Target Round (3 sets of 4 questions with 12 minutes for each set)
1:20pm–2:45pm Lunch Break. Please bring your own packed lunch.
(All parents and students are invited to join a math talk by Cary Chen from 1:20pm to 2:30pm in room 200 of the Hennings Building.)
2:45pm–3:00pm Countdown competitors announced
3:00pm–3:45pm Countdown round
